KVT Pinch valve with pipe ends of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE) for an ATEX area

  • For a special application, a valve suitable for the medium hydrochloric acid was sought.
  • Further requirements were that the pipeline valve had to have a pipe end made of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE-1000 ELS) so that the pinch valve could be welded to a PE welding neck flange on site.
  • The pinch sleeve was also designed to be electrically conductive on the inside.
